ABOUT the underground
The Dallas Underground Circuit is a 3-month Onewheel racing competition where riders log their best times on pre-selected trail segments through the Ride Hermes app.
Ride Hermes is a GPS-based phone tracking app that lets riders find the official segments, record their runs, and post times at their own pace and convenience. Every ride you record is automatically added to the season’s leaderboards, so you can race as much as you want and see how you stack up against local competition.
How to Participate
GET THE APP
Download the Ride Hermes app, and set up your rider profile. Accurate information is required to appear in leaderboards.
FIND THE SEASON
In the Ride Hermes app, go to the menu and select “Find a Season.”
For adult riders, join DAL Dallas 2025 Underground to see all official segments for the season.
For riders 14 and below, join DAL Dallas GROM 2025 Underground, which has its own set of segments tailored for the Groms class.
RIDE / RECORD
Head to any designated trail segment, start the Ride Hermes recording before the official start point, and end it after the segment finish. Your fastest time for each segment counts; ride as often as you like to improve your ranking.
SEE IT PLAY OUT
Your best times update live in the app leaderboard. Top performers in each class earn points and advance toward the finals.

The Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of the grassroots Underground Circuit, this GPS-tracked race series is powered by the Ride Hermes app and showcases 12 of the area’s most diverse trails. Open to all riders—regardless of age, gender, or skill level—the 2025 season runs from September 1st to November 30th. Race as much as you want, and see if you’ve got what it takes to claim the top spot.

Anyone with a Onewheel! Whether you’re a seasoned racer or brand new to trail riding, the circuit is open to all riders—regardless of age, gender, or skill level. If you’ve got a board and the stoke, you’re in.

Riders compete for more than just speed — there’s glory and bragging rights that come with climbing the leaderboard and being recognized throughout the season. At the end of the 3-month circuit, we celebrate with a season banquet, where prizes are awarded and top riders receive special recognition for their achievements.
